Time has gone quickly. It always amazes me how quickly time goes. This is particularly so
over these past two years. The years of the pandemic seem to be a great blank canvas.
However, they were not. People were still living their lives and there were many successes in
our lives both here at home in Fox Hill and around our country.
One of the successes was the Fox Hill Charitable Organization founded by a group of spirted
citizens in Fox Hill led by Dr Ricardo Taylor. I am pleased to be able to support it.
Charitable objectives cannot be overlooked. In our village, our constituency and our country
today, we need more charity.
Charity says the book of Corinthians is not puffed up, it vaunteth not itself. In other words,
you do charitable work because that is what we are ordained to do. We must help others
who cannot help themselves. We must always give a helping hand and lift others up.
That has been the mission of the organization and on this blessed anniversary, it is important
for us to mark the occasion and renew our commitment to do good, to keep our fellow man
and not do injury to anyone.
I wish you all continued success and God’s richest blessings as you continue in your
mission.

On behalf of Civil Society Bahamas, I extend heartfelt congratulations to the Fox Hill Charitable Organization (FHCO) on celebrating its 2nd anniversary. This organization was established against most odds during the global pandemic and COVID-19 in December 2020. Despite the challenging times and the warnings of safety and lockdowns, it has been able to achieve significant milestones since operations began. FHCO became an affiliate member of Civil Society Bahamas in August of 2022 and is now fully recognized as an exemplary member having made monumental strides as a pacesetter and pioneer in its service delivery and report abilities demonstrating great organization skills and accountability. I am very pleased with the organization’s and its board’s leadership and competencies and I support and endorse this leading organization in its ability to support and advance its community and country.
